Equine Sports Massage Therapy

Equine sports massage therapy is an equine CAM (complementary and alternative therapy) which can both aid rehabilitation of soft tissue and muscle damage/injury or help healthy horses to improve their performance and function. Massage is a manual therapy which utilises hand to skin contact to mobilise soft tissue and fascia. The benefits of equine sports massage therapy, as supported by academic research includes;
